Has Your Spouses Work Habits Suddenly Changed?

May 15, 2014

work_stress.jpgWork can become a great excuse to cheat. Many men and women use the, "I have to work late tonight," excuse to date someone else.

If you're spouses work schedule has suddenly changed and they have started arriving home a few hours later, they may be having an affair. However, don't jump to this conclusion immediately. They may really be working late, as that does happen with some jobs, from time to time.

What Should You Watch For?

When your spouse tells you they are working late, there are few things you should look for including:

  • If you notice that your spouse has to travel out of town all the time, they might be cheating on you.
  • If your spouse begins talking about somebody they work with of the opposite sex, you should pay attention to what they are saying. Sometimes, it can be very easy to see that they are cheating through the way they talk.
  • If your spouse's routine at work changes after years of the same thing every single day, it could be a red flag.
  • If your spouse only seems to work late some of the time and doesn't want physical intimacy with you on those nights, it could be a sign of cheating.

None of these things are 100% accurate, but they are things to pay attention to, if your spouse starts working late.

How to Find out if Your Spouse is Cheating

The easiest way to find out if your spouse is using the working late excuse to cheat is to show up at their work with a surprise. Maybe pack a picnic and show up to treat them to a meal, while they are working late. If they are not cheating, you just look very sweet for the gesture and you can rest easy, but if they are cheating, you may get the proof you need to move forward with a divorce or confront them about the issue.
